The sporting world is mourning the loss of former Dallas Cowboys player, Gavin Escobar.
Escobar was found dead on Wednesday 28 September 2022 by police in Idyllwild.
Gavin and another woman identified as Chelsea Walsh went rocking climbing in a suburb of Southern California when they were involved in an accident on 27 September 2022. They were both found dead.
Escobar is a former National Football League (NFL) player who spent six seasons in the league with the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, and Baltimore Ravens among others.
He attended Santa Margarita Catholic and went on to play college football for San Diego State University.
While he was in college he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
Escobar who died at the age of 31, is survived by a wife, Sarah Escobar, and two children; Josey and Charlotte Escobar.

Erin Escobar and Harry Escobar are the parents of Gavin Escobar.
Erin and Harry are originally from Puerto Rico and had Gavin as an only child.
There is however no further information about them at the moment.
