Germany-Based Daniel Kyereh ‘Proud And Honoured’ To Represent Ghana

St Pauli forward Daniel Kofi Kyereh has stated he is “proud and honoured” to represent Ghana ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Kyereh received a late invitation to join the Black Stars camp for the games against Ethiopia and South Africa this month.

“I am very proud and honoured to be part of the national team,” wrote Kyereh on Instagram as he captioned photos of himself in national colours.

He looked really excited, a clear indication that he appreciates the opportunity by head coach Charles Akonnor, although it came as a result of some regular faces being ruled out due to injuries.

The Accra-born who has been living in Germany since his teens could make his debut against Friday when Black Stars play Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium.

After the Ethiopia match, Black Stars will travel to Johannesburg to face South Africa, however without Kyereh.
