Ghana Captain Andre Ayew Delighted After Scoring In Al Sadd Win

Ghana captain Andre Ayew is delighted his goal was able to help Al-Sadd continue their excellent start to the season.

Ayew was one of the goals scorers, scoring the final goal in the 10 goal game against Al-Gharafa on Sunday.

His goal earned the victory of 6-4 to Al Sadd who now occupy the top spot in Qatar Stars League with six games. They have won every game.

Taking to Instagram, Andre Ayew wrote; “3 points and we keep going🤲🏽great to have another goal after international break⚽️..top team spirit ⚪️⚫️ @alsaddsc

Ayew has scored in five straight matches for Xavi Hernandez’s team, which are still without a loss during the Qatari Stars League.

In a match rife with goals, the game was won by Al Sadd who broke the deadlock with Algeria forward Baghdad Bounedjah after seven minutes after which two goals scored by Saeed Essa as well as Saifeldeen Fadlallah gave them a three-goal advantage 10 minutes later.

Al Gharafa mounted a strong fight back Cheik Diabate scored two goals to go along with Saifedeen’s strike, but Hassan Al Haydos gave Al Sadd the lead.

At the end of the game, Bounedjah extended his side’s advantage before Ahmed Alaaeldin pulled one back to Gharafa.

Andre Ayew sealed victory in the 89th minute by scoring five goals in the season.
