Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah has expressed gratitude to fans of the San Jose Earthquakes for their immense support in their victory over Vancouver Whitecaps in Major League Soccer.

The San Jose Earthquakes came back on track after losing their opening-day match to earn their first win of the season, with the experienced Ghanaian defender playing a vital role in his team’s success on the day.

Jonathan Mensah moved to the San Jose Earthquakes just before the start of 2023 MLS season after his contract with Columbus Crew expired.

He took to social media, after the game to thank the supporters of the team for their immense support for the team.

Mensah wrote on his official Twitter account that, the performance was gritty from the squad last night, and sent a big thank you to all the team’s fans for all the relentless support.
