Ghana center-back Mohammed Salisu produced another strong performance to help Southampton keep a clean sheet at the Etihad against Manchester City.
The 22-year-old replaced the injured Jack Stevens in the 37th minute and partnered well with Jan Bednarek as the Saints picked a valuable point.
Salisu was outstanding in dealing with aerial balls and made vital blocks to deny City from breaking the deadlock.
Southampton came close to winning the game after referee John Moss initially awarded them a penalty, only for VAR to deny the call.
Mohammed Salisu has been key this season for Southampton, helping them to draws against the two Manchester clubs as well as West Ham United.
The left footed guardsman joined Southampton last summer from Real Valladolid.
