Legendary Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan is reportedly received a staggering £3millionn for every goal scored in the Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.
According to English website, The Daily Star, the former Black Stars of Ghana captain
was awarded £23.6million for eight goals he scored over 26 games in the Shanghai SIPG.
Gyan joined the Chinese side following three seasons of success in Al Ain for an amount of £8million.
The Ghana player who was at the peak of his life prior to his move to China agreed to a contract that included a payment for each goal he scored.
The former Sunderland player didn’t like life within the Asia country, and was forced to a loan transfer during the second season.
The player eventually left after two years to join Turkish club Kayserispor in 2017, but injuries hindered his return to Europe.
Gyan (36) has last played in the Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities, and he has recently announced that he will be back in action by January.
