“Ghana Is Only Peaceful On Paper And Chats” – Fameye Reacts To Ejura Shooting

Ghana musician Fameye has also reacted to the tragedy that befell the youth of Ejura after they clashed with the military during a street protest.

It would be vividly recalled that Kingaziz.com reported that two persons have been shot dead, while four people were reportedly injured in the process during a clash between the youth and some military officers at Ejura.

This comes after #FixTheCountry activist, Ibrahim Muhammed, also known as Kaaka, was reportedly attacked by a crowd at around 1:30 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021.

Some inhabitants of Sabonline, a Zongo hamlet in the Ejura district, heard his cries for aid, but they arrived late to find him in a critical state.

He was immediately rushed to the Ejura Sekyeredumase District Hospital, after which he was later referred to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Ibrahim was confirmed dead on Monday, 28th June 2021.

In reaction to the shootings, Peter Famiyeh Bozah, known by the stage name Fameye, has expressed his displeasure in the military officers who opened fire on the protestors at Ejura.

According to Fameye, Ghana is only peaceful on paper and chats, but not on the grounds.
