Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time top scorer, has shared his throwback photo from his final high school time.
The photo that was spotted by Kingaziz.com on the former Black Stars captain Instagram handle was taken by with a group, what appeared to be the “after friendly game” photo.
Sharing the photo, Gyan wrote;
“Who can identify me in this picture?we have come a long way 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿. Accra Academy days. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿”
Gyan has participated in the Olympics, African Cup of Nations, World Cup, English Premier League, Italian Serie A, and the French League 1 just to mention a few.

All over world, there’s just two players who have accomplished this feat, Gyan who achieved it first along with the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo.
Asamoah Gyan has been the Ghanaian player who has played for his country’s Ghana Black Stars the most, with 109 caps.
Current captain Andre Ayew has recently celebrated his 100th cap for The Black Stars and could surpass Gyan shortly, but until when he does, Gyan’s record stands.
Asamoah Gyan also broke the world record of the African with most goals in the FIFA World Cup during the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.
In the past, the record was held by the legendary Cameroonian striker Roger Milla.
