Black Stars midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has continued his impressive performance for Anderlecht as he made a cameo to help his side share the spoils with Oostende in the Belgium Pro League on Sunday at the Albertpark.
Anderlecht were trailing 2-1 in the early part of the second half. However, the introduction of Ashimeru from the bench in the 79th minute was enough to turn things around.
The visitors restored parity through Benito Raman as the pulsating match ended 2-2.
The former WAFA man attained a rating of 7.1 which is rare and impressive for a substitute.
Having featured 11 matches for the Belgiant giants this season with good performances, he is expected to earn more minutes in impending games with the big one against Club Brugge coming up on Sunday, October 3.
He is likely to be named in the Black Stars squad by newly appointed coach Milovan Rajevac for the FIFA World Cup qualfiers next month against Zimbabwe.
