Ghana forward, Mohammed Kudus played a prominent role for Ajax on Sunday evening as the team battered Sparta Rotterdam 4-0 in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Mohammed Kudus began the match week 22 game of the Eredivisie starring on the left of a front three.
Sparta Rotterdam put in a strong resistance in the game hoping to cause an upset but Ajax’s player quality was too much for them to handle resulting in a one-sided match.
Ajax Amsterdam took the lead in the 6th minute of the game through Dusan Tadic, before going on to double their lead through a Kenneth Taylor strike just before the halftime break.
Kudus, who will not be left of the rout scored a brilliant direct free-kick six minutes to the end of the game after Dusan Tadic had scored his second and the team’s third goal in the game in the 64th minute.
With this win, Ajax has moved to second place on the Dutch Eredivisie league table only three points behind the current league leaders.
