According lequipe.fr, Ghana sensation Kamaldeen Sulemana has preferred a move to French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais to Ajax Amsterdam in an unexpected turnaround.
The 19-year-old FC Nordsjaelland attacker was reportedly going to have his medical examination this week at Ajax, but he has decided to join the French club.
Nordsjaelland reached an agreement of around 15 million Euros transfer fee with Ajax and with the Brittany club.
The final choice therefore fell to the explosive Ghanaian international, but Rennais would have been able to convince the highly-rated youngster to move to France ahead of the Netherlands.
Sulemana is expected in Rennes this Friday to undergo the medical examinations prior to his signature.
Sulemana had an impressive campaign in the Danish Superliga last term, where he netted 10 goals and provided 8 assists in 29 appearances.
He has two caps for Ghana, having made his debut in an international friendly against Mali in October 2020.
