Ghanaian defenders Baba Abdul Rahman and Andy Yiadom were in top form as Reading returned to winning ways with victory over Peterborough.
Both players lasted the entire duration as Reading recorded a 3-1 victory at the Madejski stadium to win their first game in four matches.
After a barren first half, the Royals scored two quick fire goals halfway in the second half after John Swift and Tom Dele Bashiru gave them a 2-0 lead.
But Peterborough pulled one back through Nathan Thompson with 15 minutes left.
Dele Bashiru then hammered the final nail in Peterborough’s coffin with Reading’s third in the 88th minute.
Baba Rahman, who joined the Championship side from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, reacted to the win.
“Good win last night and the confidence is sky-high. Time to recover and go again at the weekend,” he wrote after the game.
