Copenhagen-born Ghanaian midfielder Nikolas Nartey will return to parent club VfB Stuttgart at the end of the season.
The 21-year-old is expected to fight for a position in the Stuttgart team next summer after an impressive loan spell with Bundesliga II side SV Sandhausen.
Nartey has made 16 appearances and has an assist to his credit at the second-tier side.
Stuttgart is expected to offload several players in the summer transfer window, including former Bayern Munich defender Holger Badstuber.
Other players expected to leave in the summer transfer window are Hamadi Al Ghaddioui (30), Daniel Didavi (31), Gonzalo Castro (33) and Marcin Kaminski (29).
The departures are expected to hand the Ghanaian the opportunity to nail a spot in the first team.
Nikolas Nartey’s contract with VfB Stuttgart expires in June 2023.
