Famous Ghanaian businessman, Daniel McKorley better known as McDan has opined that Ghanaian youths are suffering in poverty because they sleep too much out of laziness.
According to the Chief Executive Officer of the McDan Group of Companies, Ghana’s future leaders are far behind when compared to their mates in other countries all because of laziness.
Speaking on Joy News, the business magnate urged the youth of the country to wake up from their slumber, take risks and put in efforts to change their lives.
“The youth of this day sleep too much. They have been tested with kids’ gloves. There are so many opportunities out there, but they need to push themselves. Manna does not fall from heaven. The system has too much money, but the youth are confused and lazy.”

While this may be true, his opinion quickly sparked a controversy on social media with many tweeps attacking him for speaking about struggles he knows nothing about.
For one, many Ghanaians who travel outside to the west where there are several opportunities to succeed come back with a massive change in their standard of life which screams hard work. This goes to say that the youth of the country are not laxy but find themselves in the wrong country.
