The 2020/2021 SRC executives at the University for Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale have sent shivers down the spine of the average Ghanaian after it allegedly constructed a student bus terminal for the school as their tenure of office comes to an end at a whopping cost of Ghc63,147,62.
A breakdown of the amount for the construction of the single bus terminal with a wooden bench reveals the SRC executives spent Ghc45,160,62 while the fabrication and installation of a single relaxation bed cost them Ghc18,014.85.
Similarly, a sister University SRC not long ago also inflated a simple bus by almost 100,000 Cedis.
Another SRC sometime ago too doubled the appearance fee of a famous musician during their SRC week. They invoiced 150,000 Cedis and paid him 80k.
