We have sighted a post made by the popular Ghanaian journalist, Kofi Adoma on his Kofi TV official page on Facebook.
The post had to do with a story about trainee nurses and midwives in the various nursing and midwifery training colleges.
It could be recalled that the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo restored trainee allowances as he promised in 2016 when he assumed office in 2017. These allowances were being paid as every trainee got a value around GHC 450.
However, it seems for the past eight months nothing has hit their accounts and this is the reason they are hitting on the streets.
The post had a flyer that had the words;
“Trainee Nurses and Midwives Are Suffering On Campus!!
We Miss Our Dear Trainee Alert
8 Months Unpaid Allowances, Kindly Pay Us Mr President”

Amin Ahmed – It’s good for them NANA Addo is the one who promiss them so they should call on him. JDM says am taking your allowances in order to wide up the instruction so that when you people complete your studis you will get employed but as a villages who thing no future day but today says no we need our allowance here and now. That is why NANA Addo as criminal as he is took advantage of it and say that you guys should vote for him and he’ll restored your allowance why demonstrating now?

Reuben Kumassah – I said it from day 1 that this allowance thing was just for vote. Npp cannot pay. After 4 more for nana this the end result. We lied to ppl for vote knowing well it cannot be sustained. Now parents will start paying for free shs
Obaapa AkuaAbena – Npp and ndc are all the same. Just that npp is smart in squandering our money. They made everything look good last 4 yrs and made Ghanaians vote for them, now look at they are doing when they gained power for the second time.
Next 3 yrs de3 GUM o. At least we will be sure he will use our money in building more churches
