Ghana’s Sports Ministry Congratulates Black Stars On Securing 2022 World Cup Play-offs

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Mustapha Ussif has felicitated the Black Stars after securing a spot for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers play-offs.

Ghana beat South Africa by a lone goal, thanks to Andre Ayew’s spot-kick for a place in the play-offs.

The Black Stars qualified ahead of Bafana Bafana based on goals scored between the two sides, despite having being on the same points.

The minister of Youth and Sports who was in attendance to cheer on the Black Stars, congratulated the team following the win.

The World Cup play-offs comes off in March of next year, with Ghana taking on one of the best teams to have qualified from the qualifiers.
