Ghanaian actor Mr Beautiful has indirectly offered his support for the acceptance of LGBTQ+ in Ghana by saying that we should give the LGBTQ community what they want and let them deal with the consequences.
Legalization of LGBTQ in Ghana is now a highly delicate issue, with some who favor legalization, while others oppose it. Mr. Beautiful has indirectly thrown his support for legalization of LGBTQ in Ghana, asking us to allow them to have what they need.
Mr Beautiful speaking in an interview with Sammykay stated that those who made the decision to sleep with their male companions did it at their own free will, and they have the right to do so, therefore we must let them do what they like and when the time comes to pay they’ll have to face it.
According to the man, they have a right, and they decided to make use of the backs of their fellow human beings in the sense that God has provided us with an ideal place to be our time. Mr. Beautiful claims he is not gay and doesn’t know anyone who is gay, but in the event that some people are looking for, we ought to offer it to them.
Mr Beautiful though never said explicitly that we should legalize homosexuality and lesbianism, his assertion that we should grant this to them is indirect support for legalizing LGBTQ within Ghana and some won’t be pleased with his suggestion.
