Good News: Libyan Army Raids Human Smuggling Prisons; Arrest 16 Suspects And Rescues 85 Abducted African Migrants

Report gathered by our outfit indicates that the Libyan Army as of Sunday, March 21, 2021, raided some human smuggling dens in Nessma town, South of Bani Walid and guess what, they arrested 16 smugglers and free about 85 African migrants who were held in captivity.

According to Brigade 444, its forces neutralized the hideouts which were about 200km from the capital Tripoli and arrested the smugglers who were on the wanted list of authorities but had never been arrested.

The brigade disclosed of Facebook saying that; during their delicate ”combat operation”, its forces had freed 85 African Abductees, in addition to ending the smugglers’ kidnap, looting and banditry in the area that was burdening the residents for a long time, seizing weapons and vehicles they were using.
