Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has berated fans of the club, stressing that the club is bigger than the fans who he says can stop supporting the club if they are tired of doing so.
His remarks come in the wake of the emergence of a leaked audio recording in which the management is accused of imposing players on Slavko Matic.
There have been calls by fans of the club for the sacking of some management members like Vincent Sowah Odotei and Alhaji Akanbi for the poor performance of the team and interference in the work of the head coach.
In his reaction to the calls by the fans, Dr. Tamakloe stressed that the club is bigger than any individual fan and went further to state that it is bigger than archrival Asante Kotoko.
He insists that fans are free to stop supporting the team if they are unable to focus on the positives rather than the negatives.
Slavko Matic took over from Samuel Boadu who led the club to win five trophies in his one and half year stay at the club on a two-year deal.
