Hearts of Oak winger Salifu Ibrahim emerged Home-based Footballer of the Year at the 2021 Ghana Football Awards.
He is been influential for the Phobians since making the switch from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window.
Under the season in review, Ibrahim was head and shoulders above Asante Kotoko’s Brazilian ace Fabio Gama, Gladson Awako of Great Olympics and WAFA’s Augustine Boakye.
Also in contention were Great Olympics defender Samuel Ashie Quaye, Karela United striker Diawisie Taylor and Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Ganiyu.
With three matches to the end of the Ghana Premier League season, Ibrahim has seven Man of the Match awards.
