Hellen Wendy Nyabuto was born in 1998 in Kenya.
She moved to Canada in 2018 to work as a nurse.
Nyabuto secured a job as a caregiver at a long-term care center in Collingwood, Canada.
She is reported to have drowned in a pool while filming herself on a Facebook Live stream, which incident happened on 18 August 2022.
Hellen who is reported to be the sole breadwinner of her family was interacting with viewers at the shallow end of the pool.
She later transitioned to the deep end and was seen struggling and calling for help.
Helen was found dead by Ontario Provincial Police who confirmed that she had died by drowning on 18 August.
Nyabuto’s family has opened a GoFundMe page to raise $50,000.00 to enable them to send back her remains to Kenya.
So far, an amount of about $38,000.00 has been raised.
