Yussif Basigi, the head coach of Hasaacas Ladies has shared his experience with the German club TSG Hoffenheim and his appreciation to the Ghana Football Association for aiding his attachment.
The coach was attached to the Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim for four weeks as part of a capacity-building project that Kurt Okraku, the GFA president announced.
The Ghana Football Association initiated the capacity-building opportunity in order to help make Ghanaian coaches come to terms with modern trends in football coaching.
Bernhard Lippert, the technical director of the Ghana Football Association was responsible for arranging Yussif Basigi’s attachment with TSG Hoffenheim.
Yussif Basigi believes the initiative by GFA is a good one because it came to him as a surprise after sponsoring his own development to be chosen to go for an attachment at the expense of the FA.
He said that the experience has been refreshing and that he saw a lot of things that will inure to his benefit as a coach.
