‘I Lied, Forgive Me’-Akufo-Addo Confesses As He Apologizes To Ghanaians For Saying He Didn’t Promise Harbour In Cape Coast

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has apologized to the people of Cape Coast and Ghanaians for saying he didn’t promise to build a harbour in Cape Coast.

Recall during the Npp 2020 manifesto launch in Cape Coast, they promised to build a harbour in the regional capital, however, during the president’s recent tour in Central Region, Akufo-Addo was speaking with Babara Obeng Dwamena Mensah on the ‘Kokroko’ Morning Show on Monday morning, and when asked about the status of a promise to build an airport and a harbour in Cape Coast, the President said, “The commitment was never to (build) a harbour.

This put many Ghanaians in shocked for the president making such U-turn.

Well, Akufo-Addo, who is on a tour in the Greater Accra Region, speaking with Kwame Sefa Kayi, also known as Chairman General, the president apologized to the people of Cape Coast and Ghanaians by saying he has realized that such promised was in their 2020 manifesto.
