I Miss Castro Every Day – Asamoah Gyan Reveals 9 Years After Mysterious Disappearance

Former Black Star captain, Asamoah Gyan has revealed that even after 9 years, he still misses his long-time friend Castro who disappeared mysteriously.

The famous highlife singer mysteriously disappeared with a trace during a nice time out while jet skiing with a lady friend identified as Janet Bandu at the Ada Estuary.

In a recent interview, the former Ghanaian forward revealed that even though a lot of time has passed since the incident, he still misses his friend and brother from another dearly.

“I miss him every day but I don’t show the emotions. I always feel his presence around me.” Asamoah Gyan told Dan Kwaku Yeboah.

Asamoah Gyan and Castro were very good friends. While Castro was still alive, the duo recorded many songs including, African Girls, Do the dance, and Odo pa.

Asamoah Gyan and Castro first met in Italy in 2005 during a show where the singer was paid to perform and instantly become friends after the singer asked Gyan to come on stage and dance while they perform.
