Famous Ghanaian barbie cum actress, Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has revealed that she prays five times every day.
Speaking on ETV last Wednesday, Akuapem Poloo revealed that since she converted to becoming a Muslim, she has tried her best to conform to all the practices of the religion, particularly the five daily prayers.
She revealed that she does not see any sharp differences between Christianity and Islam as a religion apart from the different names.
“To me, I don’t see any difference between the two religions. It’s the same way we worship God, the same way we worship Allah. The difference is you say God and I say, Allah. You have to go neat before talking to God. We pray five times a day and I am glad I’m able to go through all that. Yeah, I pray five times a day.”
Akuapem Poloo announced her conversion in 2022 adding that her conversion was not because she wanted to please a man or get married into a Muslim family but to please her son.
The actress has also said that since her conversion, her life has really changed. For one she no longer wears skimpy clothings and covers her body which is a huge improvement looking back at her record.
