I Was Thrown Away By My Parents At Birth – Toyin Abraham Reveals
Famous Nigerian filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has revealed that she was thrown away by her parent and took the intervention of a man of God to bring her back to life as she was stillborn.
Speaking during a recent interview with Vanessa Obioha, the movie producer revealed that she was mute and still until the day of her naming ceremony.
She also revealed that her parents left her for dead as she was literally dead by the time she came out of her mother’s womb. She explained that a man of God was moved by the spirit to resuscitate her and bring her back to the land of the living.
“Since birth, I have been spiritual. My parents told me that I was stillborn so they had to throw me away. Then there was a clergyman from Ibadan who came to the hospital and asked about me and I was brought back to life. I was told that I never cried or did anything until the day of my naming ceremony,” she revealed.
The veteran also revealed that she was born with dreadlocks but changed as she resorted to following the holy spirit.
“But ever since I started following the lead of the Holy Spirit, things have drastically changed for me and I’m extremely happy about it. I’m actually dada – those people that naturally have dreadlocks from birth.”
