A Ghanaian man of God has declared that the Black Stars need a strong spiritual support if they are to succeed in the 2022 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will take place in Cameroon in January.
The Black Star will begin preparations for the tournament anytime soon, but Prophet Ogya Nyame has declares that human efforts cannot aid the team.
According to the founder and head of the Kumasi-based Shining Grace Chapel, the only thing that they require currently is spiritual support.
He said that if the team is unable to gain spiritual leaders and support, they may struggle to get beyond the group stage.
He shared this information in a recent submission at his church.
“This AFCON, Black Stars, needs serious spiritual direction from a powerful man of God. And the direction will require a huge cow to reverse the bad luck. If they fail to do that, even in the group stages, they will struggle to progress.” He wrote.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from the 9th of January to the 6th of February 2022. The Black Stars are in the same group with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros.
Ghana is hoping to lifting it for the very first time more than three decades since the last time that Ghana won the trophy was back in 1982, despite having appeared in the finals on different occasions.
