President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has pledged continued support for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The president made this known in an address to Nigerian while he was at an APC presidential rally in Nasarawa State.
He took the opportunity to congratulate the presidential candidate and assured him that the APC is going to win comprehensively. He added that he will continue to campaign for Bola Tinubu who calls a committed Nigerian and believes will give his all to the country and to all Nigerians.
President Buhari’s comments come in the wake of claims that there are some forces within the presidency who seek to disrupt Tinubu’s campaign.
Tinubu is on record to have that that the fuel scarcity and new naira note redesign policy by the Central BBank of Nigeria (CBN) were orchestrated to derail his campaign.
According to APC’s flagbearer, he is confident Nigerians will ignore the crisis in the country is in and still vote for him. He also insists that there are some elements in the Presidential Villa working against his bid for the presidency.
His claim was corroborated by Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State.
