Black Stars forward, Joseph Paintsil was on the score sheet once again for his team, KRK Genk as they beat KAA Gent in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League.
He played 84 minutes of the match in which his team recorded a 3-2 away win on Sunday night.
The home team struck to take the lead through Hyun-Seok Hong after only nine minutes but Joseph Paintsil scored to restore parity in the 23rd minute to make it 1-1.
It was his third goal in as many games for Genk. He scored against Seraing last weekend and Eupen during the midweek matches.
After the recess, the visiting team increased their lead through Collins Sor, who struck in the 62nd minute.
KRK Genk’s Nigerian striker Toluwalase Arokodare scored Genk’s third goal of the game in the 86th minute, Gent pulled one back two minutes later through Laurent Depoitre to leave the score at 3-2 at the end of the match.
Joseph Paintsil is enjoying a good run of form, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists in all competitions.
