Injured Ghana Goalkeeper Richard Ofori Visits Black Stars Teammates In South Africa

Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori visited his Black Stars teammates during their first training session in South Africa.

The injured goalkeeper was at the team’s training session at Orlando Stadium today, November 10, to support them prior to the final Group G game on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Ofori suffered an injury in Ghana’s match with South Africa in September, and he’s not yet fit to return to the Ghana national team.

While he was absent, Swindon goalkeeper Jojo Wallocot appears to have walked easily into the role.

Ghana has to beat Ethiopia in the coming days before their final game of the group at Cape Coast against South Africa.

The Black Stars are hoping to be back on the international stage, but they’ll have to get some tickets to the play-offs.

Milovan Rajevac travelled to South Africa with 24 players after losing Thomas Partey, Jonathan Mensah, and Gideon Mensah to injuries.
