Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Mercy Aigbe has shaded ex-minister of Aviation, Femi Fani Kayode after ditching the People Democratic Party (PDP) to Buhari’s All Progressive Congress (APC).
Femi Fani-Kayode admitted that he was wrong about some of his criticisms of the Muhammadu Buhari administration in the past, and his admission comes hours after he met with President Buhari where he was formally introduced as the newest member of the ‘All Progressives Congress’ (APC).
The move generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, and some attributed it to hunger on Femi Fani Kayode’s part and accused him of going after money than good governance after having years of criticizing Buhari’s government.
Also reacting to this, Mercy Aigbe, in a post shared on her Instagram page, said big grammar isn’t a measure for intelligence, adding that some of the country’s so-called politicians need to take several seats. Despite not mentioning names in her post, most of her followers claimed she was indirectly referring to Femi Fani Kayode.
She wrote:
