The name nicknamed “The Golden Bear”, Jack William Nicklaus is a retired professional golfer from American.

He doubles as golf course designer. Jack Nicklaus was on 21 January 1940 in Columbus, Ohio.

Jack’s father Charlie was the one who introduce him to the sports of golf. In fact, Charlie encouraged the young Jack to play any sports that involved the use of a ball, something he did himself.

Charlie Nicklaus was born in 1914, a jack-of-all-sports, he played soccer, tennis, volley ball (in which he sustained an injury) and golf.
He studied pharmacy at Ohio State University.

Jack and Charlie spent a lot of time together.

He died at 56 of causes related to pancreatic cancer in 1970.

Helen Nicklaus

Helen Nicklaus’ maiden name was Helen Schoener. She met Charlie in Ohio when she moved there to stay with an Aunt, because she had lost her family.
