Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha has poked fun at her Ghanaian counterpart Jackie Appiah by asking her to carry her ‘enkle’ – the dancing official who hails from Ghana who has become the talk of the town on the internet.
This happened following Mike Ezruonye shared a video of the famous referee named Alexander Cofie aka Somo doing some crazy legwork at the course of a soccer match.
The video has sparked reactions from the followers of Mike as well as several Nigerian celebrities. Chioma who also saw the post, tagged Jackie Appiah, asking her to come for her uncle. She also added a new dimension of humour message to the post.
Sharing the video, the Nollywood actor wrote; “FOCUS on the Happiest Referee in Africa from GHANA 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽😂😂😂”

Somo recently gained popularity following former Liverpool as well as France forward DjibrilCisse uploaded his video on his Instagram stories that shows the referee dancing with the caption “Best referee ever.”
He’s previously talked with Pulse.com.gh for an in-depth interview, in which he revealed that he’s not licensed as a professional referee. He claims that he officiates community matches as well as other games that aren’t approved by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
“I officiate matches in communities within Accra. If I’m invited for such matches, I’ll gladly honour it,” he told Pulse.com.gh.
“I’m not a professional referee, but I officiate exhibition matches for some Division One and Division Two teams.”
Referee Somo also intimated that he was ready to extend his dancing performances into music videos and parties.
“I can dance in music videos. If you want me to perform at your parties too, I can do that. You can contact me on my social media handles,” he added.
