Jaimie Breezy Branch was born on 17 June 1983 in Huntington, New York.
She was an American jazz trumpeter and composer.
Branch started playing the trumpet at the tender age of nine. She had her music education at the New England Conservatory of Music. She enrolled for a master’s degree in Jazz performance from Towson University but dropped out after two years.
She began working as a musician, organizer, and sound engineer on projects for artists like Jason Ajemian, Keefe Jackson, and Ken Vandermark in Chicago.
Branch founded the band Block and Tackle which comprised Jason Stein, Jeb Bishop, and Jason Roebke. She also founded her own record label called Pionic Records.
Branch died at home in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York on 22 August 2022 at age 39.
