Jessica was born on March 14, 1956, in Manhattan. She was brought up by her father, the co-founder of Barton’s Candy and a Holocaust survivor, and her mother, a top administrator at Weill Cornell Medical College. Klein received a degree in psychology and social relations from Harvard Radcliffe in 1977.
After Wasserman’s passing in 1998, Jessica worked with Tommy Lynch, her creative collaborator, on Just Deal, Sk8, and Scout’s Safari. Other significant credits include those for Secret Central, Gabriel’s Fire, Mancuso, FBI, Northern Exposure, and Mancuso.
