Queen of the House singer Jody Miller has died, aged 80.
According to a release by her record label the Universal Music Group, she died of complications from Parkinson’s disease in her hometown of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
The country singer was known for hit songs like “Baby I’m Yours,”, “Darling, You Can Always Come Back Home,” and the Grammy-nominated crossover hit cover of “He’s So Fine.”.
Miller went on semi-retirement in the 80s to spend time with her family and resurfaced after the death of her husband Monty Brooks.
She released “Where My Picture Hangs on the Wall,” featuring her daughter Robin Brooks Sullivan and two of Roger Miller’s grandchildren in 2018.
