Joe Salisbury was born on 20 April 1992 in London. He is a British professional tennis player who is currently ranked world number 1 in doubles.

With Rajeev Ram as his partner, he has won 2020 Australian Open and the 2021 US Open in the men’s doubles. He is a four-time Grand Slam champion. He has also under his belt the 2021 French and US Open mixed doubles titles alongside Desirae Krawcyzk.

Salisbury is the third British to be world number 1 in either singles or doubles after brothers Jamie and Andy Murray.
