Jordan Alexander Spieth was born on 27 July 1993 in Dallas, Texas.
He is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.
He is a former world number one golfer who has won three majors.
Spieth took golf lessons at Brookhaven Country Club. He attended the Jesuit College Preparatory School and went on to the University of Texas where he played collegiate golf but turned professional in his sophomore year.
Spieth was the youngest U.S Open Champion since Bobby Jones in 1923. His former Tours include the European Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia. He was a member of the 2014 U.S Ryder Cup team.
Spieth has sixteen professional wins and is a Catholic and is a frequent attendee at the PGA Bible Study
He lives in Dallas, Texas with his family.
