Jordan Alexander Spieth was born in Dallas, Texas on July 27, 1993. He is a professional golfer from the United States who competes in the PGA Tour. Spieth, a former top-ranked golfer globally, has secured victory in three major tournaments.
Spieth received golf instruction at Brookhaven Country Club and later pursued his education at Jesuit College Preparatory School. He continued his golf career at the University of Texas before deciding to turn professional during his second year.
Spieth became the youngest U.S. Open Champion since Bobby Jones in 1923. He has previously competed on the European Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia, in addition to his current participation on the PGA Tour. Spieth was part of the 2014 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
With sixteen professional victories to his name, Spieth follows the Catholic faith and regularly participates in the PGA Bible Study. He resides in Dallas, Texas, alongside his family.

Shawn Spieth and Mary Christine Spieth are the parents of Jordan Spieth. Mary previously worked as a network engineer until the birth of Jordan’s younger sister, who has a disability. In order to support her daughter’s needs, Mary resigned from her engineering position and took on two jobs.
Shawn attended Saucon Valley High School and later pursued his education at Lehigh University. The couple also has another child named Steven Spieth.
