Kanye West Raises $1 Million For DMX’s Family From Yeezy – Balenciaga T-shirts Proceeds

Hip Hop icon Kanye West was able to raised an amount of 1 million dollars from the Yeezy- Balenciaga t-shirts which was made in honor of the late Hip Hop rapper DMX.

Yesterday Swizz Beatz announced that Kanye West has ordered his multi-billion dollar clothing line Yeezy to collaborate with fashion giant Balenciaga in making t-shirts to to honor late rapper Earl Simmons better known in the Hip Hop world as DMX and his legacy.

It was also revealed that the proceeds of the sales of the t-shirts will be given straight to the family of the late rapper to support them.

Well, new update reveals that, Kanye was able to raise a whooping amount of one million dollars from the sales of the t-shirts just yesterday, and reports indicates all the money/ proceeds went direct to DMX’s family.

The t-shirts which cost $200 was released into the market where’s the memorial service of the Hip Hop legend was underway at the Brooklyn Barclays Center in New York. Its customized with a picture of the DMX printed in front and the dates in which he was born and suddenly passed away printed at the sleeves of the t-shirts.

The memorial service of the late Hip Hop legend was held on Saturday and on Sunday in New York with very few in attendance since the ceremony was strictly by invitation because of the COVID-19 restrictions in the State of New York where only 10% capacity are allowed in any indoor event.
