She is a Czech professional tennis player who was ranked by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) on 17 July 2017 at world number one.
In doubles rankings, she reached world number 11.
Pliskova who has represented the Czech Republic in the Fed Cup has won 16 singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour and on the ITF Circuit she has 10 singles and six doubles titles under her belt.
She won the Australian Open junior title in 2010 after turning professional the year before. She is currently being coached by Leoš Friedl.
