Two charges including a speeding ticket against Katie Price have been dropped following a string of legal battles, including recently avoiding jail time after breaking a restraining order.
In Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the two charges were dropped because prosecutors could not produce evidence to incriminate Katie.
Price, 44, was charged on September 13, 2021, with one count of going over the 60 mph speed limit and one count of failing to give out information on January 26, 2019. The hearing was moved up from its originally scheduled Tuesday time slot. Katie Price who is currently on a holiday with her boyfriend, Carl Woods in Thailand skipped the court day.
Katie Price was given a suspended sentence in September after wrecking her BMW in West Sussex. She also received a 16-week prison term as well as a 2-year driving ban and a fine of £85.
She avoided doing time in jail last month after admitting to violating a restraining order when she sent a message to her ex-boyfriend Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost.
Price’s attorney, Nicholas Hamblin, stated that although his client had admitted to the violation, she did not know that the restraining order “worked both ways.”
