Katie Price Narrowly Escapes Prison After Pleading Guilty To Breaching Restraining Order

After pleading guilty to violating a restraining order and being warned that she faced jail time, Katie Price has narrowly escaped jail term during her sentencing hearing at Lewes Crown Court today. However, she was slapped with a community order for 170 hours of unpaid labor over an 18-month period.

Price previously admitted to violating a restraining order against Michelle Penticost, the fiancée of her ex-husband Kieran Hayler. Price appeared in court today wearing a green suit and was accompanied by Carl Woods.

“In my judgment, this offense was committed out of anger. The words you used were highly offensive and inflammatory so the breach cannot be considered minor. In my judgment, balancing the aggravating and mitigating factors, the appropriate sentence is a medium-level community order,” Judge Stephen Mooney told Price.

While Price seemed emotionless during the hearing, she gave out a brief smile as she descended from the dock.
