‘Keep Streaming My Old Songs Because I’m Not Inspired Yet To Drop A New Song’ – Sarkodie To Fans

Ghanaian musician, Michael Owusu Addo who is known as Sarkodie has stated that he is not yet inspired to release a new song.

He made this known in his recent interaction with his fans and followers on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

This comes after his SARKNATION petitioned him to drop a new song because it has been a while he gave them something new.

According to him, he is not ready to release a new song adding that he has released many songs so his fans can other music lovers can keep streaming them.

One of his fans asked him;

“When are we getting a new song?
We wont take “soon” “In the pipeline” as answers. We want specific dates We are waiting”

To the surprise of his fans, Sarkodie said;

“Got loads of music out there keep streaming… I’m not inspired yet” He stated

Sarkodie was part of the Ghanaian celebrities who joined the #FreeAkuapemPoloo campaign.
The award-winning musician shared his thoughts about this in a recent post he made on his verified social media handle on Twitter.

According to him, he feels it’s a little too harsh for Akuapem Poloo to be jailed and separated from her son just because of pictures taken and shared on social media.

In conclusion, he added that the authorities should temper justice with mercy and pardon Akuapem Poloo.

The tweet by Sarkodie reads;

“I think it’s a little harsh to separate a child from the mum just because of pictures taken … would want to plead with the law to pardon our sister #FreeAkuapemPoloo.”
