The love, energy, endearing sense of humor, and fun-loving interest Dad exhibited to each of us was truly special, and we cherish the many wonderful memories we were able to experience with him.”

Alice Mendell, who was raised Jewish but converted to Christianity is the wife of the late Ken Starr, who headed an investigation of members of the Clinton administration, known as the Whitewater controversy from 1994 to 1998.

The couple met at Harvard University during a summer Spanish class and got married on August 23, 1970, and they were still together until the death of the American lawyer.
