Kevin Wayne Durant was born on 28 September 1988 in Washington, D.C.
He is a professional basketball player from America who plays for the Brooklyn Nets in National Basketball Association (NBA).
Durant who is regarded by many as one of the greatest players of all time played a season of college basketball for the Texas Longhorns of the University of Texas at Austin and was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft as the second overall pick.
He played for the Seattle SuperSonics for nine seasons.
Kevin joined the Golden State Warriors in 2016 and went on to win the 2017 and 2018 NBA championships back to back. He is one of the highest-earning basketball players in the world.
Durant who is a member of the U.S national men’s basketball team and a double Olympics gold medalist has endorsement deals worth millions with Nike and Foot Locker.
On 30 June 2022, it was reported that Durant had requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets.
