Alleged pregnant woman who allegedly got kidnapped in Takoradi has been arrested by the Takoradi Divisional Police Command for faking her pregnancy and kidnap.
On Friday, suspect, Josephine Payin-Mensah, confessed to a team medical and investigation officers at Effia-Nkwanta hospital that she lied about being pregnant as well as getting kidnapped.
Together with her husband she is being interrogated by the police.
A close source has indicated that Josephine has asked her husband who seems to be completely in the dark about the whole drama to forgive her.
Following her confession, all Ghanaians who have been following her case have been left completely shocked.
According to report from the police, the suspect has not had any intimacy with the husband for the past three to four months with claims that the pregnancy could be at risk.
