Kurt Okraku Is Failing To Develop Our Game – Jerome Otchere

Jerome Otchere, a former Kotoko Express Editor, has chided Ghana Football Association [GFA] boss, Kurt Okraku for failing to develop football in the country.

Otchere made the remarks after the Black Stars suffered a surprising defeat at the hands of Madagascar in their first game of the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN).

He stated that the poor performance of the Black Stars at the 2021 AFCON and the 2022 World Cup is indicative of the poor leadership by Kurt Okraku who heads the country’s football governing body.

He further stated that Kurt Okraku is likely to lose his post as the FA president if things remain the same.

Jerome Otchere told Asempa FM that under the leadership of Kurt Okraku Ghana went to the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon and failed to perform; not winning a single game, which has never happened in Ghana’s football history.

He indicated that after watching the Black Galaxies against Madagascar it became clear to him that Kurt Okraku is failing at developing football in the country.

The sports pundits lamented the horrible nature of pitches in the country.

The Black Galaxies will face Sudan in their second group game on Wednesday.
