Kyrie Irving is an American professional basketball player who plays for the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets.
He is the son of American expatriates Drederick and Elizabeth Irving and was born on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Australia.
He is Shetellia Irving’s stepson. When he was just four years old, he lost his mother. Drederick Irving, the father of Kyrie Irving, was a Boston University basketball player in college.
Kyrie played basketball in his freshman and sophomore high school years at Montclair Kimberley Academy.
