In addition to his television roles, Madowo hosted The Larry Madowo Show on Nation FM from August 2014 to June 2016 and penned a weekly column titled #FrontRow in the Daily Nation from August 5, 2014, to February 8, 2018. Notably, he gained recognition in Kenya for hosting the popular Friday night show #TheTrend on NTV Kenya from December 2012 until June 30, 2017.

Larry Madowo Parents: Meet His Mother Treazer Anyango Madowo and Father

Larry Madowo was born on July 14, 1987, in Siaya, Kenya, to his mother Treazer Anyango Madowo and his father Mr. Madowo.

At the age of 7, Larry Madowo experienced the loss of his father in 1994. His mother, Treazer Anyango Madowo, served as a primary school teacher and held a position as a divisional Knut official.

Tragically, Larry’s mother passed away in 2001, leaving him and his sister Liz Madowo orphaned. Liz, a graduate of Moi University, pursues a career as a stylist and also engages in fashion blogging.

Larry’s upbringing took place in various locations across Kenya, including Siaya, Kisumu, and Nairobi.

He attended Usingo and Karapul primary schools before continuing his education at St. Gabriel’s Seminary for secondary schooling. Despite initially considering training as a Catholic priest, his aspirations shifted by the time he completed high school. In college, he pursued studies in broadcast journalism.
